I just read of the passing away of Dan Rettenberg. He was a scholar and a gentleman - a true mensch. Dan not only helped me on my MLS assignments, but also introduced me to the wonderful bibliographic world of rare Judaica with passion and warmth. He will be missed. May his family be comforted among family and friends.
