Thank you for sharing, Robbin. I was happy to read Scholastic's response. My school is scheduled to have a Scholastic Book Fair next week and I was concerned about how parents would react because I saw the article posted on Facebook this morning.
I will pulling the offending book if it arrives as part of the shipment. Its worth noting that Scholastic has always been accommodating at sending books of Jewish interest to the school for our book fairs.
