Hi -- This may be both off-topic and not in accord with list rules but I wanted to call your attention to two resources you and your students might enjoy (neither of which I can access!).
I attended a daylong 'think tank" about JEDLAB, which though rather inchoate seems to be a place where many creative Jewish educators congregate and serve as a kind of living resource for one another. It can be found at https://www.facebook.com/groups/jdsmedialab/?fref=ts There have been articles written about it in the Anglo-Jewish press but I didn't really get it until I logged on via my wife's facebook account. I can see it would be great for Jewish librarians, who don't yet seem to be present in force. And speaking of my wife the second resource is Hebrew Memes, an instagram account where my wife and others have been trying to promote a kind of kid-friendly Hebrew learning and easygoing fraternity among Jewish tweens around the world. That's at http://instagram.com/hebrewmemes but I suppose best accessed through the app (all of this is somewhat beyond me but I appreciate it from afar). That's it, be well, keep warm. TX MK
