*Please share this announcement with potential candidates:* *Library Technician* The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum seeks a Library Technician. The incumbent must have specialized experience providing support in acquisitions, cataloging, reference services, collections management, preservation, and/or digital reproduction. Knowledge of standard library and/or museum practices and systems related to cataloging and/or collections management, and the ability to handle fragile library and archival materials, are required. Specialized experience fulfilling duplication requests, digitizing collections, and managing digital assets is highly desirable. Basic reading knowledge of at least one European language (other than English), Hebrew, or Yiddish, sufficient to identify and transcribe bibliographic data, is required. Some tasks require physical exertion, and if selected for the position, the candidate is required to undergo a pre-employment physical examination. This is a Donated term position with benefits, not to exceed one year.
