Dear Hasafranim,
I've been weeding out books from my collection that I know will not sell at my
booksale, books from the 1950s-70s on Jewish sociology, history, Israel,
reference, and bible commentary. Does anyone know any Jewish
libraries/synagogues/used book stores/retirement communities -- ANYTHING -- in
the Detroit area or somewhere in southwest Michigan that would take these books
off my hands for free? (These books are too generic for Jewish booksellers
elsewhere to even pay for shipping). If I donate them to my local library, I
just know they'd end up in the dumpster, and that bothers me.
