Those of you in the New York area may be interested in attending an upcoming book talk sponsored by the Yeshiva University Libraries. Next Wednesday, December 6, Professor Joshua Zimmerman, of the YU faculty, will be speaking about his new book The Polish Underground and the Jews, 1939-1945. Prof. Zimmerman will present a lecture followed by a conversation with Shulamis Hes (AJL's Membership Secretary). The event will be held in room 507 of the Mendel Gottesman Library, 2520 Amsterdam Avenue in Manhattan, at 6PM. Signed books will be available for purchase and refreshments will be served.
