There’s also The Weight of the Sky by Lisa Ann Sandell (2006):
With the pressure from her family, friends, and teachers mounting, Sarah is
excited about getting away from it all and living a grand adventure on a
kibbutz in Israel for the summer, but once there, Sarah notices that every
place has its problems and comes to realize that running away will not result
in quick-fix solutions to issues at home.

Subject: Re: [ha-Safran] does anyone remember...?

Simone Elkeles wrote a series of books (How to Ruin a Summer Vacation) but the
main character spends the summer on a moshav in the first book and in a program
on an army base in the third book:

How to Ruin a Summer Vacation (2006)
How to Ruin My Teenage Life (2007)
How to Ruin Your Boyfriend's Reputation (2009)

We in the media center here are trying to recall the title of a novel in which
the main character, a teenage girl, goes to visit and live on a Kibbutz in
Israel. It’s set in contemporary times. And it’s not One More River by Lynne
Reid Banks. It’s a different one. Can anyone remember reading a novel like
that?
