During this closure, I've been doing maintenance and cleaning in the
library.
Something I've noticed in several sets of reference volumes, is that we are
missing 1 or several volumes. Checking the on-line catalog, they have not
been there for at least 8 years.

Some are Talmudot, some are encyclopedias, some are, well, I don't know
what. I have all sorts of Hebrew-reading volunteers offer to help, and
can't get them to come in.

What do other libraries do with broken sets? How do you decide if it
should be kept, if a replacement volume can be ordered (some sets are from
the early 60's and 50's), or if the set should go into the genizah?
Thanks for any input you can offer.
