In order to practice an abundance of caution, at this point our policy is to check out books to students only for use during pleasure reading time in school (indoor recess, DEAR time (Drop Everything and Read). We are making exceptions for students who are permanently learning virtually. Parents are invited to pick up a book chosen by the child on Zoom- we take it to their car).
Books are quarantined for 7 days before being checked in. We have followed the public library in that regard (thank you, Rebecca Levitan for your help). Hope this helps.
