Every Wednesday at lunch time Rabbi Leonard Matanky of Congregation KINS (my shul in Chicago) has a videocast called Daytime Dialogues. This past week he interviewed.he interviewed Stuart Schnee. He is a book shepard, who lives in Israel and for over 20 years he has helped authors get published. He discusses aspects of book publishing that librarians always wanted to know. It is only 30 minutes long and worth listening to. One bit of advice is an author needs a good editor.
