A special mazaltov to Gail from Cape Town in South Africa. Gail's inspiration and generosity helped me to advance my career as a librarian at the University of Cape Town Libraries and the Kaplan Centre for Jewish Studies and Research. So that today even though retired I am still busy researching in the field and am still affiliated to the university.
I attended many AJL conventions, meeting an array of wonderful new colleagues and enjoying Gail's amazing hospitality afterwards. She is totally devoted to her calling. I can't imagine a more worthy recipient!! Yasher koakh, Gail!! >From Veronica Belling in Cape Town.
