To add to Arlene’s comments. I was a self trained volunteer synagogue librarian
when Marcia gave a course in Jewish children’s lit at Bergen County Community
College. Those notes were my Bible until I went to library school later. She
was a wonderful teacher snd s warm person

It has been very rewarding reading all the stories of how Marcia touched
people’s lives. I too, would like to add to this collection.
Marcia was a member of my Long Island chapter (and Wendy Marx too!) of AJL. We
would gather at meetings on occasion but more importantly, she was the most
helpful and generous person I met as I was attempting to set up a special
Holocaust section of my library. Marcia was a true expert in this area and
offered many ideas and even showered me with books as well! She was a true
professional who took pride in sharing her enormous well of knowledge. And
besides all that, she was a nice person! Proud to have known her.
