Dear Safranim,

In a synagogue library that offers book checkout on Shabbat, in an
observant setting where patrons do not write during Shabbat, what methods
are used for circulation? I am familiar with the idea of having
pre-existing envelopes or cards with each borrower's name on it (or each
family's name), and then the book cards are placed in those name envelopes
or paperclipped to name cards. Are there other methods?

Thanks
Heidi Rabinowitz
