I'm in a public library, but if it is useful: there are 35 copies of the first book in the series available in my public library system (Bergen County Cooperative Library System, which includes towns like Teaneck, Englewood, Tenafly, and West Orange, among others). As of now 5 copies are checked out. All but 12 have gone out some time in the last year, and one of the ones that hasn't circulated is located at the Teaneck library which has been closed for nearly a year for renovations. Of the other books in the series, they have nearly all gone out in the last year. I'm not a circ analysis expert but the only ones that I would weed for non-use have probably been missing for a very long time or are in collections with otherwise poor maintenance practices. I can't say what's been weeded and not replaced in the last few years. Overall I think what I'm seeing is favorable in terms of the book/series enduring popularity.
