Dear safranim,

I am working on cataloging a copy of Bava Batra that appears to date from the
17th century. The volume is incomplete, lacking the first 16 leaves (including
any introductory material), and the final surviving leaf is numbered 208. I
suspect it may be the Cracow edition of 1602 (Vinograd 234).
I consulted the online Cracow edition at the National Library of Israel, and
the text and typography correspond with the Stanford copy up to leaf 179. From
the verso of leaf 179 onward, however, the texts diverge.
Any assistance in identifying the Stanford copy would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance, Heidi Lerner
