Dear HaSafran colleagues, Academic Studies Press is pleased to announce the launch of a new academic series, *Yiddish Studies and Hasidism*, published jointly with the Sznajderman Chair in Yiddish Studies and Hasidism at Bar-Ilan University.
The series is dedicated to Yiddish culture and the historical experiences of Yiddish-speaking Jewry, as well as to Hasidism from its eighteenth-century origins to its contemporary global forms. It welcomes scholarship that bridges philology and social history, literary and cultural studies, folklore, intellectual history, anthropology, and religious studies. Monographs, edited volumes, critical editions, translations with scholarly apparatus, and other academic formats are all considered. The series accepts proposals and publishes volumes in English and—where possible—also in Russian and Hebrew.
