Until I learned the trick of using lists as monads, I was utterly
perplexed as to how to get a Cartesian product - or why there's no
library function to do this!
Thanks to the chapter on Logic Combinators, I've learned a trick or two
about monadic list trickery... muhuhuhuhu!
