GHC uses http://darcs.haskell.org/bin/darcs-to-git which is a fork of
http://github.com/purcell/darcs-to-git

It's not very fast, but it works well enough.  I tried tailor only
briefly but it failed on its own test suite and I didn't bother to
investigate any further.
