That's *WEIRD*. It's as if you have the old base from GHC 6.8. Is cabal-install doing something (weird|evil|smart) here? That code is in this block: #if __GLASGOW_HASKELL__ >= 610 ... instance Exception SqlError where ... #endif And it acts as if you're compiling against GHC 6.8! > I got that error when using cabal to install.
