Recompiled my program. It now throws a "loop" exception (which the exception handler catches) instead of just dying.
(Curiosly, the exception handler itself then throws an exception saying "<stdin>: hGetLine: illegal operation (handle is finalized)". It worked fine before... anybody know about this?)
