Hi, I have read the papers about the accelerate package that provides a high-level interface to nvidia's cuda library and am very intrigued. However, I have some start-up problems. Is this the right place for such questions?
In particular, I'm having trouble with lifting and unlifting. From what I understood, I should be able to use unlift to get an Int from an Exp (Plain Int), but when I try, for example, (unlift . lift) (1::Int) :: Int ghci complains with "No instance for (Unlift Int)". I have the latest versions of accelerate (accelerate-0.9.0.1) and ghc (version 7.4.1). I think I'm missing something obvious, so if any of you could point it out to me I would be glad.
