I'll just provide an update. Hackage is hosted on abbot.galois.com, which lives on our office LAN here in Portland, OR. Our ISP, TW Telecom, experienced an outage last Friday that impacted several customers in downtown Portland. The outage lasted from roughly 4:45 pm (PDT) to 7:20 pm (PDT), during which time Galois was disconnected from the wider Internet. We're still awaiting word on the cause for the outage, though service has been stable since it was originally restored. -- Paul Heinlein Galois, Inc.
