Hi, as you may know currently all wiki account requests go to my personal email address. This was supposed to be "temporary" workaround to prevent lots of spam on the Haskell wiki (enabling ReCaptcha didn't help). Well, over 2 years have passed now ...
While not ideal, I think creating wiki accounts manually through a wiki admin seems like a reasonable trade-off. Of course, as it is set up right now the account creation delay depends on my email checking habits and my internet access situation (let alone the obvious bus factor). I'd like to instead set up a system similar to how it works for Hackage (I assume). I.e., users send an email to, say, "wiki" at haskell.org and an issue gets created in some issue tracking system. Several wiki admins get notified and whoever comes first resolves the issue. How difficult would this be to set up? Can we re-use an existing ticket system. We also don't have many wiki admins (5 or 6, I think?), so it would be nice to recruit a few more.
