I agree with what Adam/Gershom said, namely: - As long as there are links from the current site and new site, it should be fine.
- On that note, the consolidation of a visual identity isn't the highest priority, so having things out of sync is fine. The platform is much more important. But yes, we should do this eventually. - I wouldn't mind having a platform.haskell.org subdomain; it wouldn't be hard from a technical POV (in fact, nothing has to change - we just add a new DNS entry to point to the existing website, with a server block in the HTTP server to handle that specific domain and route appropriately) On Tue, Jul 29, 2014 at 5:43 PM, Adam Foltzer <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi folks, > > On Tue, Jul 29, 2014 at 2:30 PM, Gershom B <[email protected]> wrote: >> >> Cc: admin, committee. >> >> My personal sense is that at the moment we should take the path of >> least resistance, which I understand is a new, separate platform site >> that looks _sorta_ like the proposed new one, but also isn't the new >> one, and isn't integrated with anything in particular? > > > +1.
