I agree with what Adam/Gershom said, namely:

 - As long as there are links from the current site and new site, it
should be fine.

 - On that note, the consolidation of a visual identity isn't the
highest priority, so having things out of sync is fine. The platform
is much more important. But yes, we should do this eventually.

 - I wouldn't mind having a platform.haskell.org subdomain; it
wouldn't be hard from a technical POV (in fact, nothing has to change
- we just add a new DNS entry to point to the existing website, with a
server block in the HTTP server to handle that specific domain and
route appropriately)
