Oh, wow. If you think hugs startup is slow, wait until you start a Java
program via the JNI..


In any case, test the results of Erik's and Sigbjorn's efforts and give
them feedback about your experience. Feedback about real practical
experience was missing for my old prototype, and is even more important
now that the raw Haskell/JNI interface is being replaced by a much more
complete infrastructure.
