small enough obhate: MS Access, despite seeming to accept the Windows
concept of "regionalization," will not accept, say, "10,00" even
though it's a perfectly cromulent number in French if the database
was created in English. Okay, fine, whatever; your snail-eating,
ruffle-wearing virgules aren't welcome here. The really hateful part
is once you've clicked in a number field, it tells you you're fucked
before you even type anything. And then the helpful and repetitive
error messages from Jet take over until you can manage to kick the
power cord out of the wall.
I would go on about company policies that non-windows systems are
beyond the pale and it will take another year before they even
"certify" a 64-bit windows, but that belongs on a different hate list.
