Well, I guess BitKeeper is right - whitespace matters in Makefiles, Python

And don't forget perl6. (HATE! HATE! HATE! perl6 is one language I won't
code in - for exactly this reason).
I'm not very knowledgable about Perl, but I thought Perl 6 had those
metaprogramming capabilities from another planet, and you could make it look
like whatever you wanted (including Perl 5), and this would solve all syntactic
problems forever, and I wanted to read about it just out of curiosity. So I
thought you could also tell it that whitespace didn't matter.
Did I get it all wrong?
P.S. I think that people who truly hate Perl miss one point - most people behind
it and using it have really nice attitude and good, practical intentions. Which
is terrific compared to the spirit of, say, C++ (the boost kind, the system of
values praising 80-line "generic" max implementations). So all the bad Perl code
I've come across, which actually made me avoid the language, couldn't make me
really hate it.
