Is there something strange about my keyboard or terminal? If I hold down the control key and press six, the character sometimes written as ^^ is sent. If I hold down the control key and hold down the shift key and press six, the character is not sent. Thus if I was telling someone how to type it, I would certainly choose "Control 6", not to mention that to me "up arrow" suggests cursor movement, which on this terminal is ^[OA. -josh
