Tangential, but I was reflecting on why I find Email has become a more tiresome medium to use over the years. I have looked at some emails I wrote 10-12 years ago and they were really short and to the point. They now look rude. Nowadays I tend to have to(or feel I have to) start with "Dear xxx, how are you" and finish with "blah blah blah, Andrew, Full sig".
