Evgeny,
ZooKeeper does have access control lists that we can use to try to prevent
external clients from corrupting things. That said though, I think the whole
point of this is to get both the external clients and internal servers
coordinating through ZooKeeper rather than each other.
Perhaps Stack/JDCryans can elaborate further.
