If there's bandwidth in the 0.21 period, I think we should either give the
Thrift gateway attention or deprecate it and remove it in favor of the C/C++
client side API. I think really on the Thrift side it should be the slimmest
wrapper around direct communication via KeyValues. At that point, why not just
use KeyValues directly?
