Gautam: Thanks for posting config. My guess is that what you are seeing is an
idiosyncracy standalone mode. We should test it though. Do you think the fs
is moving blocks around on the opened hbase dfsciients? There's no replicas in
your filesystem, right? You are using local filesystem or hdfs with one
datanode?
