A better, more flexible way to handle this might be to integrate Chef from
Opscode.
http://www.opscode.com/chef/
Chef is a framework for server "recipes" If you adopt Chef, then you can
delegate all of the before/after configuration steps to Chef.
Chef is Apache Licensed.
