So, this is a bit complicated. The recently committed HIVE-2646 added the
Serde classes to the hive-exec jar, so if one builds from a recent build of
Hive's snapshot, one gets the serde classes from the exec jar. If one's cache
is not updated, it fails as above. I've opened HIVE-3017 to see if this was
intended or not.
