Francis Liu commented on HCATALOG-495:
--------------------------------------
HCat's HiveClientCache requires the google-guava library. The library is
bundled with hadoop 0.23 and 2.0 but not in 1.x. We'd need to add google-guava
to distributed cache for it to work with 1.0. How about using shading for guava
when generating binaries for 1.0? Thoughts?
[~traviscrawford], good catch on the storage-handler issue, we can check that
in as a separate issue.
