Hi,
I am getting the following error while installing hcatalog. and when I tried to
see log it is showing nothing. also I changed the installation script as per
recommended patch, still not able to bring up the service. please help me here.
[root@namenode hcatalog-src-0.4.0-incubating]#
/usr/local/hcat/share/hcatalog/scripts/hcat_server_start.sh -vStarted metastore
server init, testing if initialized correctly...
Metastore startup failed, see /usr/local/hcat/var/log/hcat.err
[root@namenode hcatalog-src-0.4.0-incubating]# cat
/usr/local/hcat/var/log/hcat.err
[root@namenode hcatalog-src-0.4.0-incubating]#
