Hi all, Sorry if this is a repeat, I got an exim error trying to send this before and could not tell if it actually sent.
Given all the trouble we've had with payment processing, I think we need a new Treasurer. The problem is that while a board member can be removed or resign, the bylaws of hcoop do not allow for a special election to replace any board member unless there is a majority of the board positions needing filled. I suggest we amend the bylaws Section 305 to strike the "and the total number of directors remaining is less than a majority of the number of seats," clause. It was suggested that we have a discussion about this before calling for a vote. Anyone have any thoughts on this or another possible solution to our problem?
