Use this instead of the [simpleWeb] line:
web "start" with
rewriteRule "(.*)" "http://ghs.google.com$1"; [redirect]
end;
The end result of this is a 404 page from Google, but I think it's doing
what you asked for. Maybe I misunderstood you, though.
