Secondary krb/afs machine Krunk has some kind of hardware problems with the network card, and this is causing subtle problems with Kerberos. Short term, we're working on replacing or removing Krunk to get things back to a good state. We'll also be introducing some machines with local authentication and filesystem for people who will want to use widespread SSH keys + Ext3 filesystem combination.
