Yes, I had problems too with access to mire, I wasn't able to obtain sudo privileges, but Adam M. took care of that now. Anyway, what I wanted to say is that I;ve tuned the bind config on mire in the same way as on deleuze - in regard to logging . Syslog facility local5, logging to /var/log/named.log and giving your appropriate permissionsi n bind_config group.
