It was an AFS user, until the introduction of nss-ptdb and the breakage it caused. The best I was able to think of at the time was to create the local user. This is one of the things that belongs to "something I will change later", but in the interest of not causing unnecessary trouble, it was easier to add a local user on mire as well, than to create an AFS user 'domtool' and waiting to see what gets broken by doing so. In any case, the system needs to start working, and I don't mind solving any problems on the way there personally. So, if anything else gets into your way and you don't want to bother looking into it yourself, send it my way. > This probably also explains why the user is unknown on mire. Yes. -doc _______________________________________________ HCoop-SysAdmin mailing list [email protected] http://hcoop.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/hcoop-sysadmin
