If I say (or give impression of saying) "just because", then 
the obvious continuation of that is "... because we already made a 
decision about this at some previous time. And if you want to change it
now -- it isn't time nor place to do it in the middle of an ongoing
procedure that is not directly related to it".

And this isn't strangers-talk; this is a hcoop-sysadmin thread among
the actual people who should know the situation.
