I stayed up. I did not see any admins on IRC. Around 2am exactly fyodor went down for about 10 minutes or so. It came back up with only hda online in the RAID array. Not being root I could not run mdadm or dmesg to investigate further. I did call Interserver and spoke to a Russ/Ross who had done the job for John, taking out hda, putting hdb in hda, and putting the new drive in hdb. He said he would take a look at the machine but he did not encounter any errors on boot.
