I agree.  Taking one user at a time with very specific needs is not a good
use of time.  I'm very certain that admins can take care of any issues
related to specific available subsystems mentioned previously.

Adam C., I think it is appropriate to defer to the admins at this point as
to whether or not people can begin using certain subsystems of hcoop's new
servers.  After all, it has been a point of yours all along to deal mostly
with just domtool.

That said, I've complete faith that our admins can handle the challenge
and accelerate the migration process; they're really terrific at what they
do (thanks Michael, Adam M., Davor, Justin (did I forget any other
admins?), you've all been astonishingly amazing).

Although the timing may be suspect, ramping up "example-collecting" would
be tangible progress that may take away some sourness from a few users. 
But it'd be wrong to do this without giving fair warning to users.  For
example, things may change due to newly discovered problems, causing
possible incompatibilities with their personal setup.  Who knows, perhaps
there are users with show-stoppers that we won't get to until it's much
too late if we go one at a time.
