You can use wb_command -surface-resample

Subject: [HCP-Users] Downsample The CIFTI File

Dear experts,

I am trying to downsample the 32k dtseires data using the -cifti-resample, and
I followed the methods described in the
https://www.mail-archive.com/search?l=hcp-users@humanconnectome.org&q=subject:"Re%5C%3A+%5C%5BHCP%5C-Users%5C%5D+wb_command"&o=newest&f=1.
However, in the step of using the wb_command -metric-resample, there is a
argument in the -area-surfs option, <new-area> - a relevant anatomical surface
with <new-sphere> mesh. I got the new-sphere using the -surface-create-sphere
(like 10k), however, I don't know how to get the anatomical surface of this 10k
sphere (like middlethickness.surf.gii, inflated or very-inflated.surf.gii).

Or is there other easier ways to do downsampling?

Thanks,

Yue Cai
