Postdoctoral position in neuroimaging/addiction at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School. The Functional Integration of Addiction Research Laboratory (FIARL) at McLean Hospital is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to join our expanding research group within the McLean Imaging Center. FIARL is focused on using and developing novel multi-modal human brain imaging (fMRI, MRS, EEG) and computational methods to study addiction with a primary focus on nicotine dependence (www.janeslab.org<http://www.janeslab.org>). We are supported by 3 clinical magnets (two 3T and one 4T) as well as high density EEG and near infrared spectroscopy that allows us to pursue cutting edge research into the neurobiological basis of substance abuse/dependence. The successful candidate will be proposed for academic appointment as a Research Fellow in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in neuroscience, psychology, pharmacology, brain imaging or a related field with a strong desire to gain additional training in addiction neuroimaging and work with an interdisciplinary team. A preferred candidate would have a strong background in neuroimaging methods and previous programming experience is a plus.
