Hello all,

HDF5 1.8.13 works fine on Yosemite for me.

As a side note: even if you don't have a particular version of Mac OS
X installed, searching MacPorts tickets should give you an idea of
whether a program or a library works on Mac OS X. There is exactly one
open MacPorts ticket for the hdf5 port and it is not related to
Yosemite.
