I'm surprised and disappointed there's not a better error message here.
Why isn't HDF5 calling MPI_Error_string and displaying what the MPI
implementation is trying to tell us is wrong?

The same happens with both HDF5 1.8.14 and 1.8.15
Any ideas how to fix this ?
