Hello, Would someone be able to review a PR I raised in relation to HDFS-17981 please? When a datanode does not have a DNS record it causes issues with the NameNode web UI and with rack topology. This is a much more likely scenario for users running on Kubernetes since if a pod is removed from the cluster it no longer has a DNS entry.
