Arpit Agarwal edited comment on HDFS-8345 at 5/18/15 6:38 PM: -------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Sean, it's returned via DistributedFileSystem (it's in the Jira description). Applications are using the storage policy APIs so we should avoid a breaking change unless necessary. Reclaiming the interface name is not enough reason. The checkstyle issues are not related to the patch. I will commit this shortly. was (Author: arpitagarwal): Hi Sean, it's returned via DistributedFileSystem (it's in the Jira description). Applications are using the storage policy APIs so I don't see the point of making a breaking change unless necessary. Reclaiming the interface name is not enough reason. The checkstyle issues are not related to the patch.
